hello everyone:
i tried to create my first pjc for form.
i find a "slider" example in heikyerbouti.developpez.com/JSlider
but when i put the form onto the server, it doesn't show up the slider.
i then add a simple JButton onto the PJC and tried again, yet nothing shows.
do i need any initilization? i just put on a beanarea and set its class to something like "slider.jar", and i uploaded the jar and configured the formsweb.cfg.
i'm using form6i, and my server environment is ebs11i, is the environment ok? or PJC is just for forms versions greater than 9i?

Just use Forms 10/11 and don't worry about trying to retrofit new tricks into old code.

thanks David

but i still don't know if i can do that

i once tried to create a form with "oracle developer suite", and find out it's impossible to compile in the server (environment ebs11i), and our environment seems impossible to update to ebs 12g....

i'm always comfused if i can use some new tech in 11i like form and jdeveloper

can form created by form10/11 be compiled in ebs11i?

i'll download a form10 to find it out....
