hi friends

We have developed a system that z posted on the server.The nls_lang fr the server is :ARABIC_AMERICA.AR8MSWIN1256
We have arabic font installed on all the machines here.
Now our system when it runs...it displays the arabic text as ???? but some forms and some forms diplay the arabic text...
when i checked at back end ,wherever the arabic text was inserted it shows '??????'

But if u query d form,it shows the arabic font as it was inserted.

Any ideas....
i think i need 2 check the character set for the databse itself..but can i change it now to support arabic fonts also

Please search this forum for 'arab' and 'arabic'.

You may have to PM some of the other posters.

It will show you the data as ???? in Backend even after on the same machine it will show fine in forms.

You are using Toad. Isnt it?
