I have build a sw containing 20 forms & 35 reports.
I have created users table.
Now I want to assign different rights to different users like update, view , update, print, delete etc etc...
Enable disable add/delete/update buttons on basis of user rights
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Gohar

Then u can also built a maintenance module for rights there are several ways to do it. Suppose you have a Column Authorize as "Y" and "N" whoever has the Flag enable set item property insert update delete allow other wise let them only be an audience for the show. Buttons can be also validated in the same way.

But here I need to block some users to access some forms, while allow others to click and open others users.Similarly some users could not access some reports, some users could make data entry other change it only , third delete it varying from form-to-form base.
I think that can be made possible only through customized security rights.
If some body have implemented such application based rights, Please be kind to send me the fmb module with procedure. As I am stuck absolutely.
Thanks,
Gohar

I do not know how to do implement below..
I need to block some users to access some forms, while allow some users to click and open data entry forms. Similarly some users could not access some reports, some users could make data entry other change it only , third delete it varying from form-to-form and user to user types.
How to apply such security rights, basis on users table or else approach pl desc in detail
Thanks,
Gohar
