Sending commands to an external application [message #432636]

Hello everybody,

I would like to know if something is possible.

I am using DDE Package to access an excel file.

What I want to know if there is a way to send a command like for example 'Calculate now (F9)' to Excel from my form.

I assume from your other posts that you were able to search this forum for 'Excel' and have found a solution.

I have cahnged my program from DDE to OLE2 and now I don't have these problems.
