Hi OP. PLEASE GET ME OFF THE HOOKE HERE,"FOR OLD TIME SAKE".
I HAVE INSTALLED ORACLE FORMS6I,Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 AND IT IS SUCCESSFUL RUNNING ON MICROSOFT WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM.THE ONLY PROBLEM AM FACING IS THE ICONS ON THE TOOLBAR DONT DISPLAY BUT THE TOOLBAR DOES DISPLAY.PLEASE ASSIST ME.

I do not know the answer but I would have this to say:
1) last I knew, icons were found by looking in a specific directory. Find our where forms6i expects the icons to be. You might also want to find out if application server has any expectations about where icons should be (if you are using application server).
2) not sure but I thought 6i was not supported for 10g? Maybe this is one of the reasons why.
