Dear all,
good evening.

I am using Oracle developer Suite 10g, and i want to customize the position of ALERT message on the screen as per requirement. Can i do that?

SET_ALERT_PROPERTY and SHOW_ALERT would be functions to look at, but as far as I know, position on screen is not one of the properties that can be set.

but set_alert_property does not help in this context.
Is there any other solution that i can try?

Hello satapathy.bibek,

you can create a Windows, what looks like an Alert.

- create an Controll-Block ( non Database-Block non base on a Table)
- with two, three .. Buttons on an new Canvas
and an Display-Item , non bevel, same color as the canvas,
set default button as you like

- Create a Modal - Window , set x/y-position

- in the case of alert code : go_item(Display-Item) or Button
