Hello all

I want to store files in the database using oracle forms 6
(NOT 6i OR HIGHER) The file may be in the form of .pdf or .doc or .jpg etc..

Its possible, if yes How to code in form......

the daabase version is oracle 10g

Do a search on 'clob blob long' and you will see many threads like http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/137060/67467/?srch=blob+clob+long#msg_137060. Work through those and come back to us with any problems that occur. Forms 6 can handle these datatypes. I suggest NOT using the LONG datatype if you have 10g available to you.
