Hi can some one ans my followign questions
1)Whts diff between upgrade and migration
2)oracle 9.2.0.4 and 9.2.0.6
whts is each number represents.
3)whr i found info about 8i to 9i migrate/upgrade documentation.

Just to add, you typically 'Migrate' between platforms.
Like from windows to Linux.

Different servers are hosted in different countries but all contain the same information.
Without going into much details (on DNS/akamai/yada yada) , it is done to reduce the network traffic, balance the load and as a mirror site.
Take a commercial website like CNN. When your browser requests CNN from India, you may be re-directed to a server that is local to you.
If the same request was made in USA, it may be redirected to a local server in USA. It is all done in background.
